BREAKING: Rangers Adding top prominent infielder Statue Outside Globe Life Field Joining Nolan Ryan, Pudge Rodriguez

Texas Rangers legend Adrián Beltré, recently inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, will be commemorated with a bronze statue outside the stadium starting in the 2025 season. The announcement was made by Rangers public address announcer Chuck Morgan during a pregame ceremony on Saturday that celebrated Beltré’s Hall of Fame induction.

Morgan revealed the news, saying, “I have some breaking news. On behalf of Mr. Ray Davis, Mr. Neil Leibman, and the Texas Rangers ownership, we’re excited to announce that Nolan Ryan and Pudge Rodriguez will soon have some company.”

Beltré, who spent the final eight years of his 21-year MLB career with the Rangers, was caught off guard by the honor. “I had no idea. It was a great surprise,” Beltré told Dave Raymond and Mike Bacsik during the Bally Sports Southwest game broadcast. “I’m honored and grateful to the Rangers for this. Being next to legends like Nolan Ryan and Pudge Rodriguez is something I never imagined, so I’m truly excited about it.”

The ceremony also included the unveiling of Beltré’s Hall of Fame plaque, with former teammate Elvis Andrus present to introduce it. Andrus praised Beltré, saying, “I think God sent him to me. He was a blessing for my career, both on and off the field. He demonstrated work ethic and leadership, and although he was tough on me at times, I loved playing alongside him every day.”

The exact location and pose of Beltré’s statue outside Globe Life Field have not been disclosed, but it is likely to depict him in his iconic home run swing, with his right knee on the ground.
