AJ Storr Juggles Coaching and Camp with Lillard recently took on a dual role as both a camp counselor and participant in Damian Lillard’s Formula Zero camp. Held in Phoenix, the camp featured 15 top high school seniors and 17 college counselors, including Storr, who impressed with his performance. According to Greenlight Media and News Company, Storr’s skills—highlighted by his high basketball IQ and versatile play—stood out during the camp. The post included a highlight reel showcasing his scoring abilities, such as driving, mid-range fadeaways, three-pointers, and offensive rebounds.

AJ Storr, who is set to join KU for his junior year after stints at St. John’s and Wisconsin, shared his excitement about the move in an interview, noting his goal to enter the NBA Draft next year. He reflected on his journey through different conferences and teams, including his recent summer experience playing with the Bahamas national team, which included notable NBA players. Storr’s strong performance last season with Wisconsin, where he averaged 16.8 points per game, has set high expectations for his upcoming season at Kansas.

AJ Storr, sister give back to Rockford, Illinois

AJ Storr, along with his sister Amber, recently hosted a “Storr Sibling Basketball Clinic” for over 100 kids at the downtown YMCA in their hometown of Rockford, Illinois. The free clinic, held on August 10, was part of their effort to give back to their community. In addition to the clinic, the Storrs visited Jackson Charter School, where they announced plans to support the school through donations and mentoring.

AJ Storr is contributing $5,000 to help teachers with classroom supplies and has donated 139 backpacks filled with school essentials. His connection to education is personal; his mother, Annette Brandy, teaches social and emotional learning at Jackson Charter School. Amber, who plays for Southwest Baptist University, has pledged to mentor students during her breaks from college.

AJ Storr, who will join the University of Kansas for his junior year before entering the 2025 NBA Draft, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season and his goal to help Kansas achieve a national championship. Reflecting on his decision to transfer to KU, he noted his previous familiarity with the coaching staff and the program’s strong reputation.
