Michigan football lands four-star WR over Texas, USC

Michigan football On Tuesday evening, Andrew Marsh, a four-star wide receiver ranked in the top 100, announced his commitment to Michigan football. Marsh, who had been considering Michigan along with Texas, USC, Washington, and Colorado, will be joining the Wolverines.

According to Hayes Fawcett’s post on @on3recruits, “BREAKING: Four-Star WR Andrew Marsh has committed to Michigan. The 6’1″, 180-pound receiver from Katy, TX, selected the Wolverines over Washington, Texas, USC, and Colorado.”

Ranked #58 in the 2025 recruiting class by 247 Sports, Marsh is also the #8 wide receiver in the class and the #13 player from Texas. He currently attends Katy Jordan High School in Fulshear, Texas. Gabe Brooks from 247 Sports provided the following insight in his scouting report:

“Marsh is an explosive and productive receiver with a lean, wiry build and notable athleticism in high jump, vertical jump, and broad jump. He frequently makes big plays thanks to his agility and strength in run-after-catch situations. His style is somewhat unorthodox, but he manages to fight through tackles and maintain balance to gain extra yards. With long strides and build-up speed, Marsh has recorded early high school 400-meter times in the low 50s and jumped 6-4 in the high jump as a junior. His vertical and broad jump numbers showcase his ability in contested situations.

He has demonstrated above-average route-leveraging skills for his age, effectively navigating through defenders with his unique deceleration and acceleration abilities. With over 1,100 receiving yards as a junior and more than 2,400 career yards entering his senior year, he also adds value as a potential return game asset, having scored a punt return touchdown in 2023. Marsh needs to add some weight and strength to enhance his playmaking against stronger defenders but is a high-major prospect with potential for significant impact and long-term NFL Draft prospects.”

Securing Marsh is a major accomplishment for Michigan football, as he is one of the top wide receivers in the nation and appears ready for an outstanding college career.
