Quarterback Mike White didn’t stay unemployed for long after being released by the Dolphins and will continue his career within the AFC East.
He has reportedly signed with the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad.
The 29-year-old White was drafted by the Cowboys in 2018, and has since played four seasons with the Jets and one with the Dolphins. He has made seven starts in the NFL, all with the Jets.
In Buffalo, White will be the third-string quarterback, behind Josh Allen and Mitch Trubisky. With Trubisky dealing with a knee injury from the preseason, his status for Week One against the Cardinals is uncertain, so there’s a chance White could be promoted to the active roster to serve as Allen’s backup for the game.
