Travis Kelce Confirms Taylor Swift Rumors Are True – Sparks Are Flying
The Kansas City Chiefs are aiming to achieve something unprecedented in NFL history: win a third consecutive Super Bowl. While only a handful of teams have won back-to-back championships, including the Green Bay Packers with victories in Super Bowl I and II, no team has ever completed a three-peat. Leading the charge are two-time NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes and future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce. Despite concerns about the team’s pass-catching depth, optimism remains high thanks to the presence of these two star players.
Kansas City Chiefs Stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Make Headlines Off the Field
Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, have recently been in the spotlight after it was revealed that they are backing former President Donald Trump in his bid to regain office this November. Brittany defended their stance on social media, responding to critics with a pointed message:
“To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Trump later thanked the Mahomes couple on Truth Social, praising Brittany for her defense and calling them a “great couple” while addressing the nation’s issues and expressing optimism about their support.
The couple’s political views have sparked a heated debate online, with some fans siding with them and others criticizing their alignment with Trump.
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has been making headlines for much less political reasons—his high-profile relationship with 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift. Since their relationship became public last September, Kelce has frequently appeared in celebrity gossip circles.
Recently, rumors circulated that the relationship was a PR stunt, with reports claiming they would stage a breakup later this month. However, this story is false, and Kelce’s PR team is pursuing legal action to uncover the source of the forged document that fueled the rumor.
While the breakup claims are untrue, Kelce did confirm another recent report involving Swift and the Chiefs’ offense.
Travis Kelce Confirms that Taylor Swift Has Started Writing Plays for the Kansas City Chiefs
Last week, Patrick Mahomes raised some eyebrows when he revealed in an interview that Taylor Swift had started drawing up plays for the Chiefs’ offense. He praised her genuine interest in the game, explaining how much fun it’s been having her around.
On *The Rich Eisen Show* this Tuesday, Travis Kelce confirmed Mahomes’ statement, sharing that Swift has been studying the game and even creating her own plays.
“She’s been really eager to learn. When we started dating, she didn’t know much about the rules or anything. What makes her so great in her profession is her attention to detail, and that curiosity has extended to football. She’s really into it,” Kelce said.
While none of Swift’s plays have made their way to head coach Andy Reid yet, Kelce joked that if they do, he’ll make sure everyone knows it was her idea.
Whether one of Swift’s plays ever finds a spot in Reid’s playbook remains to be seen, but considering Reid once adopted a play idea from a Lambeau Field janitor in the 1990s, it wouldn’t be out of the question.
