BREAKING: A Game-Changing Deal For Auburn As Top Talented QB Set To Commit On A Spectacular contract

Auburn football will have another opportunity to sway Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight this weekend.

Steve Wiltfong from On3 reports that Knight is set to visit Auburn again this weekend to watch the Tigers play California at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Last weekend, Knight was among a notable group of visitors at Auburn’s season opener against Alabama A&M, which included four-star linebacker Elijah Melendez, four-star running back Ousmane Kromah, and Alabama’s top 2025 recruit, Na’eem Offord.

Wiltfong notes that Knight’s growing rapport with Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze and director of recruiting Kenyatta Watson has contributed to the increased interest in Auburn. Additionally, the opportunity to play quarterback in the SEC is appealing to Knight.

Despite his commitment to Notre Dame, Knight remains a top priority for Freeze and Auburn. Speculation about a possible switch began during Big Cat Weekend in July, an event Knight attended. The Lucedale, Mississippi native has a 91.1% chance of flipping to Auburn according to On3, and flip predictions from Steve Robertson and Tom Loy of 247Sports also favor Auburn.

Knight is ranked among the top-10 quarterbacks for the 2025 class by major recruiting services and is as high as No. 2 in Mississippi.
