The LSU football team secured its fourth consecutive victory by defeating the South Alabama Jaguars, entering the bye week on a high note. While the game wasn’t particularly exciting, especially in the second half where both teams only managed to score seven points, the Tigers were never at risk of losing. After the game, head coach Brian Kelly addressed key points during his press conference.
The standout player of the game was Caden Durham, who racked up 217 yards and two touchdowns on just ten touches. Unfortunately, Durham didn’t return for the second half due to an injury.
Reflecting on the team’s progress heading into the bye week, Kelly remarked, “Bottom line is we’ve gotten better over the last five weeks, and that’s what we’ve needed to do heading into the bye week.”
