Battlehawks Officially sign Blockbuster Deal With Rivals Top Starter
For the fifth time, the St. Louis Battlehawks have signed one of their UFL College Draft selections. Defensive back Myles Jones has reached an agreement with the team for the 2025 season, bolstering a secondary that showed significant improvement last season.
Myles Jones played most of his college football at Texas A&M, where he spent six seasons. He missed a significant portion of his final two years due to injuries. During his earlier years, he recorded 121 tackles, six tackles for loss, four interceptions, and an impressive 33 pass breakups.
Lack of CB depth for the @nyjets means UDFA Myles Jones out of Tex A&M/Duke is an intriguing prospect.
Great size at 6' 4'' 194 but tons of injuries + covid year led him to play 7 yrs in college.
Good start to his career at A&M (38 G, 23 PBU's 3 INT's in 3 yrs).
Played only 15… pic.twitter.com/2694VvxW4Y

Jones transferred to Duke for his final season of eligibility. Although he didn’t get much playing time, he made the most of his chances, recording seven tackles and two interceptions in 2023.
He was eligible for the recent NFL draft but went undrafted. He later signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent and spent some time with them during training camp. Unfortunately, an injury led to his release, and he didn’t have the opportunity to play in any preseason games.
Now, Jones aims to revive his professional career in the UFL with the St. Louis Battlehawks. With seven years in college, he’s slightly older than the typical rookie. He fits the profile that General Manager Dave Boller seeks, and fortunately for St. Louis, they already hold his rights from the draft.
The Battlehawks have already signed four other draft picks, including:
WR Jelani Baker
OL Bradley Ashmore
DT Isaiah Coe
DB Myles Sims
