Commanders Unveil Key Injury Updates Ahead of Showdown with Panthers
The Washington Commanders are set to host the Carolina their home turf, aiming to bounce back after a 30-23 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. Prior to last week’s loss, the Commanders enjoyed a four-game winning streak.
In just five games, they’ve already matched their total wins from 2023, thanks to rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels and first-year head coach Dan Quinn, who have successfully reshaped the team’s culture.
As they gear up for the Panthers and strive to get back in the win column, here’s a look at the Commanders’ Thursday injury report:
Did Not Practice (DNP):
– DE Dorance Armstrong (rib)
– TE Zach Ertz (rest)
– LB Bobby Wagner (rest)
– LB Frankie Luvu (toe/rest)
Limited Participation (LP):
– G Nick Allgretti (ankle)
– S Tyler Owens (shin)
– DE Clelin Ferrell (knee)
– S Quan Martin (neck)
– RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee)
– C Tyler Biadasz (thumb)
The potential return of Brian Robinson Jr. is noteworthy; his presence was missed last week and is crucial for Washington’s rushing game.
With several limited participants, having them back on the field would significantly bolster Washington’s chances as they aim for a 5-2 record this season.
Meanwhile, the Panthers are dealing with seven players not participating in practice, which could leave the struggling 1-5 team at a disadvantage heading into the matchup.
