In an interview with On3’s Pete Nakos, Jared Curtis discussed his top choices moving forward.

“I’d say USC, South Carolina, Oregon, Clemson, and Ohio State,” Curtis told Nakos. “I’d also include Alabama.”

Curtis had the opportunity to visit USC during the summer and spoke highly of the program.

“I talk to Coach (Luke) Huard, and I like that Lincoln Riley is both the offensive coordinator and head coach. His past success, especially with quarterback development and production, really stands out to me.”

“The production of quarterbacks is definitely a big factor, but it’s also about the relationship with the coaches,” Curtis said. “I’d like to see stability, of course, but the most important thing for me is the relationship with the coaching staff.”

Lincoln Riley has built a strong reputation for turning quarterbacks into NFL-caliber prospects. Of the last seven Heisman Trophy winners, three (Caleb Williams, Baker Mayfield, and Kyler Murray) were quarterbacks coached by Riley at either Oklahoma or USC, and all were drafted into the NFL. This impressive track record makes USC an enticing option for any aspiring quarterback.

Standing 6’4″ and weighing 225 pounds, Jared Curtis is ESPN’s top-ranked quarterback prospect for the 2026 class and is ranked third by Rivals, 247Sports, and On3. So far this season, Curtis has completed 106 of 156 passes for 1,624 yards, 18 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. Additionally, he has rushed 44 times for 365 yards and 11 touchdowns, further showcasing his dual-threat ability.
