The New England Patriots offense will have one of its starters back for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to return from a foot injury, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Stevenson was listed as questionable heading into the weekend, but the Patriots chose not to promote a running back from their practice squad, which suggests a positive outlook for the 26-year-old’s availability.
Earlier this week, Stevenson provided an optimistic update on his injury status and his potential return.
“I’m doing good right now,” he told reporters in London. “I had to take a couple of days off, but I feel ready to play on Sunday.”
A fourth-round draft pick by the Patriots in 2021, Stevenson signed a four-year, $36 million contract extension this offseason. Despite the team’s confidence in him, he has faced challenges early in the 2024 season.
Before injuring his foot in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins, Stevenson had fumbled in each of the first four games. While he was productive as a runner, his ball security issues caused him to lose his starting position to Antonio Gibson for that game.
It remains unclear how significant a role Stevenson will have upon his return. He leads the Patriots entering Week 7 in touches (90), scrimmage yards (393), and touchdowns (3).
The game against the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium is set to kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET, or 2:30 p.m. local time.
