BREAKING: Mercedes conveys over F1 upgrades rollout

Mercedes conveys over F1 upgrades rollout. Mercedes trackside engineering director Andrew Shovlin has announced that the Brackley-based team has no further updates planned for the remainder of the F1 season.

The team arrived in Austin, Texas, with a variety of updates focused on the front wing, front suspension, and floor.

While the competition for the title between Red Bull and McLaren continues, Mercedes is shifting its focus to next year’s car and scaling back upgrades for the W15.

“We’ve brought nearly everything we’ll introduce before the year ends,” Shovlin stated to the media, including RacingNews365.

Mercedes conveys over F1 upgrades rollout. “This doesn’t mean we won’t make adjustments based on what we learn from the races, but we have no significant updates planned from now on.”

Currently, Mercedes is in fourth place in the constructors’ championship, which would represent its lowest finish since 2012.

As they strive for better performance on the grid, Shovlin expressed confidence that the new floor will provide an advantage.

“We’ve done all we can to ensure this will be an improvement,” he said.

“Running it and confirming we get the expected results in terms of pressures and loads is part of the process. We’ve put in the necessary work to verify that it should perform well. We’ll continue to learn this weekend and in Mexico.”
