Cincinnati Bengals fans are enraged as a key wide receiver is suddenly uncertain for Week 8.
The Cincinnati Bengals, currently at 3-4, are trailing the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. They’ve secured two consecutive wins and aim to extend their streak against the 4-2 Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. However, it looks like they’ll be missing their second-best wide receiver, Tee Higgins.
The Cincinnati Bengals are pessimistic that Tee Higgins will play
Reports late Saturday night indicated that Higgins suffered a quad injury during practice on Friday. Although he’s listed as questionable on the injury report, the Bengals are feeling pessimistic about his chances of playing against the Eagles.
Per sources, there’s a real chance Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad in Friday’s practice, has to miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals are planning to go right up until game time before deciding, but there’s pessimism about his chances to play.

This fifth-year wide receiver has recorded 29 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns this season. In the last two games, both wins for Cincinnati, he totaled 11 receptions for 159 yards and one touchdown.
Cincinnati Bengals Fans Are Fed Up with “Mr. Glass” Tee Higgins
Higgins missed the first two games of the 2024 NFL season due to a different injury and sat out four games last season for various reasons. Since last year, the Bengals have a dismal record of 1-5 in games without him.
We are either practicing stupidly on Friday's or hurting a quad in a walkthrough is flat out the most embarrassing nfl injury. https://t.co/dGO44QPBEw

Missing 3/8 games from mid practice injuries would kill the re-sign Tee chances https://t.co/nhW9kKMTdw

This is why you don’t get paid what you want
Cincinnati absolutely loves what you do on the field
But best ability is availability my guy
There’s a WR on your team who is better than you and trying to earn more money than you and he hasn’t missed and leads the league in yds https://t.co/SNTFHZdujX

Tee: “I want $25 mil per year and 85% guaranteed”
Also tee: hurts his hammy and quad and only plays like 10 games per year.
The best ability is availability. https://t.co/j66Pm2Zi8c

As news spread that he’s likely to miss the matchup against the Eagles, fans took to social media to express their frustration. If Higgins can’t play, it will significantly impact the Bengals’ offense, which has struggled to score even with him on the field, managing just 17 and 24 points in recent wins over the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns—two teams that have a combined total of only three wins this season.
