NFL insider speculates that the Jets’ decisions won’t come from the current front office.

Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic believes the trade for Davante Adams may have been exaggerated, as he discussed in the latest episode of the Scoop City podcast.

“This season was focused on winning,” Rosenblatt explained. “When they acquired Davante, it was less about winning a Super Bowl and more about lifting themselves out of a slump and making the playoffs, and that plan failed.

“It’s difficult to process everything when you consider it all. That’s where I stand, and it likely reflects where the Jets are as well. Many in the organization won’t be the ones making these decisions.”

This indicates that the Jets may undergo significant changes in the offseason, regardless of how the 2024 season plays out.

Unless circumstances shift quickly, the Aaron Rodgers era in New York is poised to be remembered as a major disappointment.
