Oklahoma secures commitment from five-star offensive tackle.
“Faith, Trust, Relationship, Integrity, Commitment.” These are the values Michael Fasusi shared on his X account after officially signing with the Oklahoma Sooners. Fasusi, a five-star recruit according to all major recruiting platforms, is ranked as the ninth overall prospect nationally by ESPN.
After moving to North Texas from Nigeria in 2019, he quickly became a standout offensive tackle for the Lewisville Fighting Farmers.He was chosen to participate in the 2025 Under Armour All-American Bowl and the 2025 Polynesian Bowl.
When Michael committed to Oklahoma back in August, he shared some motivational words with his fellow classmates and students.”Don’t stop dreaming. I’ve had my dreams, and I’m still living them and chasing them. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or who you are, you can be great,” Fasusi shared.
His high school teammate, Sean Hutton, also committed to the Sooners, leading Brent Venables to remark, “Lewisville has been a good place for the Sooners over the years.”
