Rams Shake Up Roster with Saturday Move
The Los Angeles Rams have had an up-and-down 2024 NFL season, alternating between strong and weak performances, but they are still fighting for the NFC West title. With the division tightly packed, the final stretch of the regular season is crucial for playoff positioning. However, the Rams face a tough challenge in Week 14, as they prepare for a high-stakes matchup against the Buffalo Bills, which could leave them on the playoff bubble.
A loss to the Bills would significantly harm the Rams’ playoff chances, so they’ll need to bring their A-game to take down a true Super Bowl contender. Defensively, Los Angeles faces a tough task trying to contain Josh Allen and the potent Buffalo offense. In preparation for the big game, the Rams made a minor roster move.
Woods joined the Rams after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and earned a spot on the 53-man roster following training camp. Recently waived and then re-signed to the practice squad, he now has the opportunity to suit up for the crucial game against the Bills.
With Cobie Durant and Darious Williams starting at cornerback, Woods is expected to contribute on special teams and provide depth in the secondary if necessary. To pull off an upset and keep their playoff hopes alive, the Rams will need a strong defensive strategy.
