Massive offensive lineman Jac’Qawn McRoy, a transfer from Oregon, announced his commitment to Arkansas on Thursday during his official visit to Fayetteville, according to On3.com.
Standing 6-8 and weighing 375 pounds, McRoy had visited the Razorbacks multiple times during his high school recruitment, including an official visit in June before his senior year.
As a senior at Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville, McRoy was a 4-star recruit, ranked as the No. 165 offensive tackle and No. 199 overall prospect in the 2024 class.
On3’s industry rankings place McRoy as the No. 11 offensive tackle in the NCAA transfer portal, and he is the only true freshman in the top 15, which is otherwise dominated by upperclassmen. He is also ranked No. 137 overall among transfers.
McRoy has four years of eligibility left after redshirting this season with the top-ranked, undefeated Oregon Ducks.
