Marshall began his college career at Kent State, where he played for the first two seasons. After redshirting his freshman year, he started all 12 games in his sophomore season and was named First-Team All-Mid-American Conference as an offensive tackle. Marshall then transferred to UCF, where he played multiple positions across two seasons, including right tackle, left guard, and right guard. Last season, he primarily played at right guard, with one start at center.

Head coach P.J. Fleck and offensive line coach Brian Callahan are still searching for reinforcements through the transfer portal, but securing Marshall’s commitment is a significant boost. The Gophers will need to replace three offensive line starters in the offseason. Phillip Daniels, who was expected to take over at right tackle, chose to enter the portal and return to Ohio State. Marshall brings valuable experience and versatility to the team.
