Broncos call up Defensive Lineman and Wide Receiver for Week 17 clash with Bengals.
The Denver Broncos have made two roster moves ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, elevating defensive lineman Matt Henningsen and wide receiver David Sills from the practice squad to the active roster.
Henningsen, a 2022 sixth-round draft pick, has appeared in 34 games for the Broncos between 2022 and 2023. He was also elevated for Week 16 but was not active for that game. Over his career, Henningsen has recorded 40 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 quarterback hits, 1 sack, and 2 passes defensed.
Sills, who has played in 16 career games with 7 starts, has 13 catches for 123 yards. Though he was active for three games with the Broncos in 2023, he didn’t record any receptions. Sills will be on the game-day roster for the first time this season after spending the year on the practice squad.
The Broncos are set to face the Bengals at 2:30 p.m. MT on Saturday, with the game broadcast on NFL Network.
