ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added two players to their game-day roster for Week 17.
Denver has promoted defensive lineman Matt Henningsen and wide receiver David Sills from the practice squad to the active roster for Saturday’s game against the Bengals, the team announced.
Henningsen, a 2022 sixth-round pick, has appeared in 34 games for the Broncos between 2022 and 2023. He was elevated for Denver’s Week 16 game against the Chargers but did not play. Over his career, Henningsen has totaled 40 tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one sack, and two pass deflections.
Sills, who has played in 16 career games and started seven, has 13 receptions for 123 yards. He appeared in three games for the Broncos in 2023 but did not record a catch. This will be Sills’ first time on the Broncos’ game-day roster this season after spending the year on the practice squad.
The Broncos will face the Bengals at 2:30 p.m. MT on Saturday, with the game airing on NFL Network.
