MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Braedyn Locke, who previously served as the starting quarterback for the Wisconsin Badgers, entered the transfer portal earlier this month and has now committed to a new team.
After spending two seasons in Madison, where he went 3-6 as the starting quarterback in former offensive coordinator Phil Longo’s “Air Raid” system, Locke has signed with the Arizona Wildcats, as reported by On3’s Pete Nakos.
Locke transferred to the Badgers from Mississippi State in 2022 and completed 164 of 296 passes, achieving a 55.4% completion rate. He totaled 1,936 passing yards, with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
In 2024, the Wildcats finished 4-8 under first-year head coach Brent Brennan in their inaugural season in the Big 12.
