Dolphins sign OT From Cowboys, place Kendall Lamm on IR.
The Miami Dolphins have made a roster move, signing offensive tackle Braeden Daniels to their active roster from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. To accommodate the move, the Dolphins placed Kendall Lamm on injured reserve. Lamm had been starting at right tackle in place of Austin Jackson, who is out for the season due to a knee injury. Lamm, however, is now dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Braeden Daniels, who was drafted by Washington in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, has yet to play in a regular-season game. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve and has since been part of the practice squads for the Cowboys, Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles. He was signed to the Cowboys’ practice squad on December 12, 2024.
Kendall Lamm’s season ends with 15 appearances and seven starts for the Dolphins. He had been starting at right tackle in place of Austin Jackson, who is out for the season due to a knee injury. Lamm missed the Week 15 game against the Texans due to a back injury but has played in the last two games and was not listed on the injury report last week.
With Lamm now on injured reserve, Jackson Carman is expected to step in as the starting right tackle for the Dolphins in their upcoming game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
