Miami Dolphins Land Top Blindside Star on a Long Term Deal

The Miami Dolphins have announced the signing of tackle Braeden Daniels from Dallas’ practice squad to their active roster, while placing tackle Kendall Lamm on injured reserve.

Daniels was selected by Washington in the 2023 NFL Draft as a fourth-round pick (118th overall) but spent his rookie season on injured reserve. In 2024, he had stints on the practice squads of Houston, the L.A. Chargers, Philadelphia, and Dallas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At Utah, Daniels played in 49 games, starting 43—18 at left guard, 14 at left tackle, and 11 at right tackle. He earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Conference first team in 2022.

Lamm played in 15 games, starting seven at right tackle for Miami this season. Over his 10-year career, he has appeared in 119 games, with 44 starts, playing for Houston (2015-2018), Cleveland (2019-2020), Tennessee (2021), and Miami (2022-2024).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lamm has also participated in eight playoff games, with one postseason start. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Houston in 2015 after his college career at Appalachian State.
