Broncos Free Agent Eager to Resign After Playoff Heartbreak!

Denver Broncos free agent Javonte Williams is eager to return to the team following their playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. The 24-year-old running back, who was relegated to a limited role as the No. 3 back in 2024, wants to stay in Denver despite the crowded backfield. Williams, drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, was originally expected to be the Broncos’ No. 1 starter, but injuries disrupted those plans. As Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie Audric Estime stepped up, Williams saw limited action throughout the season.

With Williams set to become a free agent, his future in Denver is uncertain. A reduced role appears likely if he stays, prompting a potential change of scenery to revive his career. His name has surfaced in trade rumors, and the recent playoff game may have been his final appearance in a Broncos uniform.

Meanwhile, Tennessee Titans veteran Derrick Henry remains an irreplaceable force as long as he stays healthy, and he’s expected to continue as their starter. As Henry enters the final year of his two-year contract, the Titans might consider an extension. Justice Hill is under contract for 2024, but Keaton Mitchell, the No. 2 running back, has struggled to make an impact. With Henry’s injury history, the Titans could look to add depth at running back.

While Williams may not be the Ravens‘ top choice, they should consider the injury concerns surrounding Henry and the importance of having a dependable backup. Williams might not be their first priority, but signing him could be a cost-effective way to bolster their running back depth for the future.
