Former Alabama wide receiver Jaren Hamilton is transferring to Arizona State, as confirmed by the player on his X account.
Hamilton, a native of Gainesville, Florida, spent two seasons at Alabama, appearing in five games, mostly contributing on special teams, with no recorded stats for the Crimson Tide.
As a former four-star recruit, Hamilton becomes the sixth wide receiver to transfer from Alabama this offseason. He will join an Arizona State team that made its debut in the 12-team College Football Playoff this season. It will be intriguing to see how he performs in Tempe.
