Vikings Tackle Errors Head-On in Playoff Showdown

EAGAN, MN (Dakota News Now) – The Minnesota Vikings’ regular season finale against Detroit last week certainly had a playoff atmosphere.

However, tomorrow night’s game will be different, as there will be no opportunity for a comeback if they fall short.

The Vikings’ Wildcard matchup is poised to be one of the most unusual playoff games in NFL history, following the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles that forced the relocation of their game with the Rams to a neutral venue in Glendale, Arizona.

Although Minnesota won four more games than Los Angeles, one of their three losses came from a 30-20 defeat to the Rams on October 20.

Much like in last week’s loss to the Lions, the Vikings’ offense struggled to get going, and in their matchup against the Rams, they were their own worst enemy—a situation they can’t afford moving forward.

“We had plenty of chances to change the outcome of that game, but we just didn’t execute.

That’s something within our control, and that’s why we’re still confident. You can only control what you can, and some of what went wrong was on us. So, we’re still confident,” said Vikings RB Aaron Jones.

“Great defense. Great coordinator. Really good scheme. They play fast, and we’re excited for this challenge,” added Vikings QB Sam Darnold, commenting on the Rams.

Kickoff is set for around 7:00 PM, and you can catch all the action live on Dakota News Now and KSFY!
