Shavon Revel Jr. is an impressive and athletic cornerback with exceptional length for his position. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 194 pounds (according to his school listing), he moves surprisingly well for a corner of his size. His quick, light feet allow him to change directions fluidly, and he has the speed to keep up with most receivers downfield.
Revel has a natural feel for zone coverage and excels at communication, both before and after the snap. He demonstrates a solid understanding of route concepts and rarely gets tricked by misdirection. He is adept at navigating through traffic and handling rub routes without getting caught up in them. With excellent awareness in zone coverage, Revel smoothly picks up and passes off receivers.
