University of Minnesota linebacker Cody Lindenberg has accepted an invitation to participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. He will be joined by fellow Gophers Aireontae Ersery and Jah Joyner in the prestigious bowl game.
Lindenberg finished the season leading the team with 94 tackles, along with five tackles for loss and one sack. He also broke up three passes and snagged an interception, earning him All-Big Ten First Team honors from league coaches.
A native of Anoka, Minn., Lindenberg appeared in 38 games for the Gophers, amassing 209 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, nine pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble during his career.
Minnesota has seen at least one player invited to the Reese’s Senior Bowl every year for the past six seasons (2019-2024), marking the longest streak in school history. Before Lindenberg, Ersery, and Joyner, the following nine players received invitations: Carter Coughlin (2019), Kamal Martin (2019), Benjamin St-Juste (2020), Daniel Faalele (2021), Boye Mafe (2021), Esezi Otomewo (2021), John Michael Schmitz (2022), Tyler Nubin (2023), and Brevyn Spann-Ford (2023). Of these, eight players were part of an NFL roster during the 2024 season.
The 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala., and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
