WR Aims to Return to the Rams This Offseason!
After their elimination by the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Divisional Round, the Los Angeles Rams are shifting their focus to the offseason. With several key players, including Alaric Jackson, Joe Noteboom, and Demarcus Robinson, set to hit free agency, the team faces important decisions.
Robinson, coming off a career-best season as the Rams’ No. 3 wide receiver, played a larger role when Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua were sidelined with injuries. He recorded 505 yards, 7 touchdowns, and a career-high 16.3 yards per reception. In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Robinson expressed his desire to return to the Rams, praising the organization and system that he believes fits him well.
The 30-year-old wideout joined the Rams in 2023 after stints with the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens, following six years with the Kansas City Chiefs. If Robinson re-signs, he could provide much-needed depth at wide receiver behind Nacua, especially with Kupp’s future uncertain and Tutu Atwell set to become a free agent.
Looking ahead, the Rams will hold the 26th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, marking the fourth time they’ve selected at that position in franchise history. The last time they picked at No. 26 was in 1989, selecting running back Cleveland Gary, who had a standout career with the team. With seven total picks in the upcoming draft, including their first-round selection, the Rams will aim to build on a successful 2024 draft, where they added defensive standouts like Jared Verse and Braden Fiske, and continue to strengthen their roster.
