4-Star Legacy Recruit Carter Luckie Schedules Official Visit to Georgia
Georgia football and Kirby Smart evaluate and pursue over 100 recruits each cycle, but certain prospects always capture extra attention. Whether they rank among the nation’s elite or have deep family ties to the program, some names naturally stand out.
This year, one such recruit is 4-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie from Norcross, GA. A legacy prospect with strong Bulldog connections, Luckie has officially scheduled his visit to Georgia.
Ranked No. 254 nationally and the No. 32 defensive lineman in the 2026 class per 247Sports composite rankings, Luckie is a highly sought-after prospect. While several programs are in the mix, Georgia is the clear frontrunner due to his deep family ties to the Bulldogs.
Most fans will recognize the Luckie name, as Carter’s older brother, Lawson Luckie, is a star tight end entering his third season at Georgia. Expected to be a key piece of the Bulldogs’ offense, Lawson will no doubt be encouraging his younger brother to follow in his footsteps. Additionally, the Luckie family has a long history with Georgia football, making Carter’s recruitment feel almost inevitable.
While recruiting battles can be unpredictable, this one seems nearly decided. Luckie has every reason to choose Georgia, and it would be a shock if he landed anywhere else.
