Cornhuskers Fights to Land FBS Top Defense Star

Nebraska football received a Crystal Ball prediction for Notre Dame offensive lineman Rocco Spindler on Tuesday, courtesy of Michigan recruiting expert EJ Holland, who picked the Huskers as his likely destination.

Spindler, who has been linked to Nebraska recently, visited the program on Tuesday and also checked out Indiana on Saturday. The schools most involved in his recruitment are Nebraska, Pittsburgh, and Michigan.

Adding Spindler would be a significant boost to Nebraska’s offensive line. He brings veteran experience, having started and played in major games. The Huskers could benefit from his presence on the interior, as he offers both skill and depth. At 6’5” and 331 pounds, Spindler has the size needed for the position.

While predictions can change quickly in recruiting, Nebraska appears to be in a strong position for Spindler. The timing of his commitment remains unclear.
