Gophers offensive lineman Martes Lewis intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, a source confirmed to the Pioneer Press on Tuesday.
The senior from Merrillville, Indiana, appeared in 39 games for the U, including three starts in the 2024 season. However, the 6-foot-7, 335-pound tackle/guard lost his starting role midway through the season.
Following the 2024 season, 13 players have departed through the transfer portal, while the team has brought in three transfers.
