Tyreek Hill Takes Responsibility and Delivers Shocking Speech to Dolphins

Tyreek Hill appeared as a guest on Kay AdamsUp & Adams show on Friday before the Super Bowl, making headlines once again—but for very different reasons than his previous comments to NFL media.

When Adams asked if Hill wanted to stay with the Miami Dolphins after his Week 18 absence against the New York Jets and his subsequent remarks hinting at leaving the team, Hill changed his stance.

“I do. I do. I don’t want to go nowhere. I love it here. My family loves it. My kids absolutely love being at the beach every morning. It’s amazing,” Hill said.

Addressing his relationship with teammates, Hill mentioned having conversations with several of them and apologized for his earlier remarks.

“They know I’m not that type of player. A lot of people might say, ‘Reek is a hothead. He’s this, he’s that.’ But my teammates know,” he explained.

Despite reports suggesting Hill was frequently late to practice or meetings in 2024, Hill denied these claims and emphasized his dedication as a teammate.

“I love showing my teammates my hard work and appreciation by going to practice every day, giving my all, being on time, being coachable, and doing everything the right way,” Hill said. “That’s what a No. 1 player does: shows up, is attentive in meetings, and leads by example. That’s what I’ve always done in my career.”

When asked by Adams if he owed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa a public apology, Hill responded with a playful grin.

“Tua’s my guy, always will be my guy, no matter what. I’m sure he understands my frustration. We all want to win. Tua’s a competitor—a winner. He’s consistent. I’m looking forward to building our relationship even more. This is my public apology,” Hill said. “Love you, bro.”

There’s been much speculation about whether Hill will be traded by the Miami Dolphins when the new league year begins next month. His public apology, whether sincere or not, adds more uncertainty to that possibility. We’ll keep you updated as the situation develops.
