2027 QB Sets Sights on Notre Dame with Growing Interest!
Massachusetts quarterback Peter Bourque, a 2027 prospect from Tabor Academy, has caught the attention of several major programs, including Penn State, Syracuse, Maryland, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, earning multiple scholarship offers. Although Notre Dame hasn’t made significant moves for 2027 quarterbacks yet, Bourque is one they’ve been watching closely.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound signal-caller visited South Bend last summer for a camp and was impressed by both the campus and coaching staff, particularly quarterbacks coach Gino Guigudli. Bourque appreciated Coach Guigudli’s coaching style and noted the strong connection within the team.
During his visit, Bourque toured the Notre Dame campus, which he described as “beautiful” and “amazing.” Despite the Irish taking a patient approach with the 2027 quarterback class, Bourque has Notre Dame among his top schools, citing their strong academics and consistent ranking as a Top 5 program in the country. He confirmed that he plans to return to South Bend.
Bourque is not rushing his decision, having attended games at both Penn State and Michigan last fall, with a return visit to Penn State for their Junior Day. For his future choice, Bourque emphasizes the importance of his relationship with the coach and the feeling of being at a place where he would want to stay for all four years. “I’m not trying to go into the portal four times,” he said, indicating that long-term commitment will be a key factor in his decision-making.
