Pittsburgh Steelers Lose Massive Nose Tackle

Breiden Fehoko, the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ nose tackle, is now officially a free agent after his contract with the practice squad expired. This means he is free to sign with any team of his choice. Fehoko, who was signed to a one-year deal by the Steelers last March, spent most of the season on the practice squad, with the Steelers’ interior defensive line remaining relatively healthy.

The 28-year-old Fehoko went undrafted out of LSU in the 2020 NFL Draft and initially joined the Los Angeles Chargers. He played there from 2020 to 2022 before being released and subsequently signed by the Steelers later that offseason.

Although Fehoko did not make the Steelers’ active roster, he was promoted for two games during the 2023 season. However, he did not receive any game elevation in 2024.

Over his career, Fehoko has accumulated 36 total tackles as a run stopper in the defensive line’s middle. He also missed part of last season due to a shoulder injury sustained in training camp but made his return by October.
