Bradden has been with the Chiefs’ defensive coaching staff since 2017, beginning as a general assistant under Bob Sutton. He moved up to quality control coach for the defense in 2018 and remained in that role even as the coaching staff experienced significant changes during the transition from Sutton to Steve Spagnuolo.

The Cornhuskers hired Bradden to be their defensive line coach, offering him the opportunity to lead a position group for the first time at a major college program. This new role is an important step in his career as he looks to further his coaching journey.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have already lost assistant defensive backs coach Donald D’Alesio to the Baltimore Ravens this offseason. However, they’ve added former linebackers coach Matt House back to the team as a senior defensive analyst and former Wisconsin linebacker Chris Orr, who joins the staff after coaching at Jackson State last season.
