Ravens Star Arrested with shockingly high BAC.
Baltimore Ravens‘ offensive lineman Ben Cleveland was arrested last Wednesday for driving under the influence after allegedly having a blood alcohol content (BAC) more than twice the legal limit. According to reports, Cleveland was pulled over around 10:25 PM after officers observed him swerving on the road and nearly steering his black Ford F-250 into a ditch. Police tested his BAC at the scene, registering at .178, which is more than double the legal limit of .08.

After his arrest, Cleveland was taken to a nearby jail, where another breath sample showed a BAC of .161. The 26-year-old, who was a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft from the University of Georgia, reportedly admitted to drinking “approximately 3-4 beers” at a nearby country club before getting behind the wheel. Authorities also noted that Cleveland’s eyes appeared “glossy,” and there was a noticeable smell of alcohol coming from his vehicle.
The arrest has raised concerns for the Ravens and Cleveland’s future, as the offensive lineman faces legal consequences and potential discipline from the NFL. This incident is a setback for Cleveland, who is still early in his professional career and has shown promise on the field. The team has yet to release an official statement on the matter.
