Standing at 6-foot, 225 pounds, Forkpa plays for Florida powerhouse IMG Academy. According to the latest 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the 355th overall player in the 2026 class, the 28th-best linebacker, and the 53rd-best player in Florida.

Forkpa spent his entire high school career at Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia, and will play his first season at IMG Academy in 2025. As a junior, he played tight end and outside linebacker, but with his size, he is expected to transition to inside linebacker at the collegiate level.

He holds impressive offers from top programs like Florida State, Clemson, and Michigan, among 17 other Division I schools. Florida State is the only other school he has scheduled an official visit with, set for the week after his visit to Minnesota.

P.J. Fleck and the Gophers have a strong track record of recruiting IMG Academy talent, with former teammates Daniel Faalele, Curtis Dunlap Jr., and Zack Annexstad all signing with Minnesota in the 2018 class.

Minnesota is stacking up an impressive list of official visits for their Summer Splash event, and Forkpa will certainly be one of the most talented recruits on campus later this spring.
