As of February 23, Oregon State’s efforts to recruit tight ends have been somewhat limited, with fewer than a dozen prospects having received offers so far. Of those recruits, many have already ruled out Oregon State as a potential option, significantly narrowing the field of candidates.
This has made the tight end position a particularly challenging area for the Beavers in terms of recruitment. At present, Oregon State has five tight ends on their roster: Riley Williams, Cooper Jensen, Jackson Bowers, T’Andre Waverly, and Cody Siegner. This group will provide depth at the position heading into the upcoming season.
In addition to these five, there are three more tight ends—Gabe Milbourn, Bryce Caufield, and Andy Alfieri—who are all set to enter their redshirt senior seasons, adding further experience to the position. However, with limited movement on the recruiting front and a relatively stable roster, it appears that Oregon State will need to focus on developing the talent they already have rather than bringing in new faces at tight end in the immediate future.
