Vikings Set to Snag 4,600-Yard Champ This Offseason!
The Minnesota Vikings face a crucial decision at quarterback that could shake up several teams, but they also have an important choice to make in the backfield. Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson is a potential target in the 2025 draft.

Henderson, fresh off a national championship with the Buckeyes, rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024, while also adding 27 receptions for 284 yards and one touchdown.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah predicts the Vikings will select Henderson with the 24th overall pick.
“The Vikings have seen firsthand how a dynamic runner can elevate an offense with a strong passing game (SEE: Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit),” Jeremiah noted on February 18. “Minnesota secures its own RB weapon in Henderson, especially with Aaron Jones heading to free agency.”
“Henderson is a powerful runner with top-tier speed and versatility,” Jeremiah wrote on February 24. “He’s a three-down weapon with huge big-play potential.”
Henderson wrapped up his college career with 3,761 rushing yards, 853 receiving yards—totaling 4,614 yards from scrimmage—and 48 touchdowns. He led the Big 10 in yards per attempt twice—once as a freshman and again as a senior.
In 2024, the Vikings selected J.J. McCarthy with the 10th overall pick after his national championship win with Michigan.
