Minnesota officially introduced five new members to its coaching staff on Tuesday. While it was already expected that Jayden Everett would join as running backs coach and C.J. Robbins as rush ends coach, the program also revealed three additional assistant coaches.
Jayden Everett, Running Backs Coach
Everett most recently served as an assistant running backs coach at Michigan in 2024. Before that, he spent ten seasons as a Division I running backs coach at Indiana State, Central Michigan, Akron, Tulsa, and Vanderbilt. He takes over the role from Nic McKissic-Luke, who accepted a similar position with the New York Jets.
C.J. Robbins, Rush Ends Coach
Robbins previously coached for Minnesota in 2020 and 2021. He now replaces Dennis Dottin-Carter, who was elevated to defensive line coach after Winston DeLattiboudere III left for the same position with the Arizona Cardinals. Before rejoining the Gophers, Robbins was set to become the defensive line coach at Central Michigan.

Minnesota also introduced three additional new hires: Nick Faus as assistant wide receivers coach, Christian Pawola as assistant defensive backs coach, and Jordan Hendy as an offensive analyst.
Nick Faus, Assistant Wide Receivers Coach
Faus most recently served as a senior offensive analyst at Pittsburgh in 2024. He coached wide receivers at Kent State in 2023 and was a graduate assistant at Minnesota in 2022. Prior to that, he had coaching stints at West Virginia and Western Michigan.
Christian Pawola, Assistant Defensive Backs Coach
Pawola, a 2020 graduate of the University of Minnesota, started as a defensive student assistant coach under former defensive coordinator Joe Rossi. In 2021, he coached linebackers at Division III Thiel College. Most recently, he was the assistant defensive backs coach at Michigan State last season under Rossi, and now he returns to Minnesota.
Jordan Hendy, Offensive Analyst
Hendy played defensive back at Toledo from 2018 to 2020, following two seasons at the Junior College level. He finished his playing career earning third-team All-MIAA honors at Pittsburg State in 2021. Hendy began his coaching career at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2022 and has been with Pittsburg State ever since.
