Standing 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds, Pollard had an outstanding junior season at Ed W Clark High School, amassing 1,847 all-purpose yards and 15 total touchdowns. He received his first Division I offer from Hawaii in September, followed by nine more schools, including BYU, Arizona State, and Oregon State.

Minnesota extended its first Power Five conference offer to Pollard on January 24. He also has an official visit scheduled with Arizona State for May 2. Though unranked on the 247Sports Composite, the site lists him as the 111th-best wide receiver in the nation and the No. 5 player in Nevada.

Pollard becomes the third 2026 wide receiver, alongside Rico Blassingame and Luc Weaver, to set up an official visit with the Gophers later this year. Minnesota signed two receivers in both the 2024 and 2025 classes, while securing three in the 2023 class.
