Oregon State has become the latest school to extend an offer to three-star linebacker Beau Jandreau from Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. Ranked as the No. 6 player in Arizona and the 51st linebacker nationally by Rivals, Jandreau is a rising star in the recruiting world.
Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 210 pounds, Jandreau’s stock has been on the rise, with recent offers from Oregon State and Washington bringing his total to nearly 20. Other schools that have extended offers include Arizona, California, Central Michigan, Colorado State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, San Diego State, UNLV, UTEP, and Washington.
Jandreau has already scheduled three official visits: California (May 29), Oregon (June 14), and Oklahoma (June 20), with the possibility of adding Oregon State to the mix in the coming weeks. The Beavers, led by head coach Trent Bray, are clearly looking to make a strong push for the talented linebacker.
This past fall, Jandreau was a standout performer for Hamilton, registering 90 tackles (31 solo), three sacks, and an interception over six games.
Oregon State has offered nearly two dozen linebackers this recruiting cycle and remains in the hunt for several top prospects, including Bethel (WA) standout Ramzak Fruean and Fairfield College Preparatory’s TJ Cirilli.
Oregon State’s history with Hamilton High is limited, having signed two-star linebacker Rueben Robinson in 2009, but the Beavers did land another Chandler native last year in defensive end/outside linebacker Bleu Dantzler.
