Kentucky’s Star out for the remainder of the season.
In a not-so-surprising update, Kentucky Wildcats guard Kerr Kriisa will miss the rest of the season, as confirmed by head coach Mark Pope.

The fifth-year transfer from West Virginia has been sidelined since December after undergoing surgery for a broken foot suffered in Kentucky’s win over Gonzaga. Despite hopes for a return, his recovery has been slower than expected.
“We’re past the window now where he could actually get back,” Pope said Thursday. “It’s been a little bit of a stubborn healing process.”
Kriisa hasn’t practiced since the surgery, and even if fully healed, he’d need significant time to regain game shape. He is eligible for a medical redshirt, giving him the option of a sixth college season—though whether that will be at Kentucky remains uncertain.
Kriisa’s season ends with nine games played, averaging 4.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. His 12-assist performance against Bucknell remains the highest by a Kentucky player this season.
