The Browns‘ QB saga rolls on, as what was once a game-changing move in Deshaun Watson now looks like one of the NFL’s priciest mistakes.

Yeah, the Watson experiment has been nothing short of a disaster. Between the massive contract, the off-field baggage, and the inability to stay healthy, the Browns are now stuck in one of the worst quarterback situations in the league. And with limited draft capital and cap space, their options aren’t exactly great.
If they bring in Cousins, it’s basically an admission that the Watson deal failed—something the front office probably doesn’t want to do just yet. But at the same time, they need a reliable quarterback to maximize their Super Bowl-caliber defense. It’s a brutal spot to be in.
Do you think they should cut their losses and move on from Watson somehow, or just ride it out and hope for the best?
It would be a very Browns move to bring in a veteran QB like Cousins, especially given his past connection with Kevin Stefanski. But is he really the answer? At 36, coming off injury, and showing signs of decline, Cleveland might just be swapping one long-term QB question for another.
If Cousins does become available, he’d certainly provide more consistency than what they’ve had with Watson’s injuries and backups filling in. But would he be enough to push them past teams like the Chiefs, Ravens, or Bengals in the AFC? Probably not.
Do you think the Browns should go all-in on Cousins, or would they be better off drafting a young QB and rolling the dice?
