Eagles Sign Star LB to Bolster Defense with Proven Talent

In recent years, the Philadelphia Eagles have become closely associated with the Georgia Bulldogs, frequently drafting and signing former Bulldogs to their roster, relying on them in their multiple Super Bowl appearances.

Reports indicate that the Eagles have added to this growing list of Bulldogs by signing former Georgia EDGE rusher,, to a one-year deal worth $4 million. After spending his first four seasons in the NFL with the New York Giants, the former Georgia standout will stay within the division, joining the Super Bowl champions for the 2025 season.

Giants' Azeez Ojulari makes major lifestyle, fitness changes

This marks the second recent addition from the Georgia program to the Eagles, following the hiring of Gummy VanGorder. VanGorder, a Georgia native, has served as the Bulldogs’ quarterbacks coach since 2019 and has played a significant role in the development of quarterbacks like Stetson Bennett, Carson Beck, and others.

Ojulari, a second-round pick out of Georgia, battled injuries in his early NFL career but proved to be an effective rusher when healthy. With the Eagles’ already deep defensive line, he won’t be expected to take on too much responsibility.
