Baltimore Ravens Retain Veteran Coach to Lead Through 2028

John Harbaugh, the second-longest serving head coach in the NFL, has signed a three-year extension that will keep him with the Baltimore Ravens through 2028. The 62-year-old coach led the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory in 2012 but has not made it back to the championship game since.

Baltimore has made the playoffs in six of the past seven seasons but has only reached the AFC Championship once, losing 17-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023. Since taking over in 2008, Harbaugh has guided the Ravens to a 172-104 regular-season record, six division titles, and a 13-11 playoff record, with four of those wins coming during their 2012 Super Bowl run. Last season, the Ravens won the AFC North with a 12-5 regular-season record and defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round before falling 27-25 to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round. –Field Level Media.
