Vikings Top Candidate to Acquire 3-Time Pro Bowler

The Minnesota Vikings have already made significant moves to upgrade the interior of their offensive line, but more reinforcements could be on the way following the NFL Draft.

Currently, the Vikings hold only four draft picks, limiting their ability to add low-cost rookie talent. While the secondary remains a top priority—many mock drafts have Minnesota selecting a cornerback at No. 24 overall—the team may turn to the trade market to address other needs, particularly along the offensive line.

One name to watch is Cleveland Browns guard Wyatt Teller. According to the Pro Football & Sports Network, Teller is viewed as Cleveland’s top trade candidate after the draft, with the Vikings seen as one of the most likely landing spots.

“The 30-year-old Wyatt Teller would likely have strong trade value,” PFSN reported on April 18. “The Seahawks and Vikings both ranked in the bottom five in pressures allowed from guards last year and could immediately plug Teller in as a starter.”

A deal could be facilitated by the strong working relationship between Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Browns GM Andrew Berry. The two previously worked together in Cleveland and have completed multiple trades in recent years.
