Many believed that Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant would be selected by the Buffalo Bills, but instead, he was taken with the 13th overall pick by their arch-rivals, the Miami Dolphins.

Kenneth Grant Scouting Report:

The Dolphins were in need of bolstering their defensive line and providing some assistance to DT Zach Sieler, and Grant was a perfect fit. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 331 pounds, Grant impressed at his pro day by improving his bench press reps from 22 at the combine to 27, running a 5.07-second 40-yard dash, and achieving a 31-inch vertical leap—remarkable for a player of his size.

While scouts and analysts see him as a potential three-down player, he will likely be more effective against the run early in his career than as a pass rusher. He will need to focus on improving consistency, particularly when rushing the quarterback.

What Analysts Are Saying About Kenneth Grant:

Lance Zierlein from NFL.com noted, “He had some sack production in college, and we could see him improve in that area once he learns to create more rush space with his hands. Grant’s game will truly come together when he can use his impressive physical tools to dominate opponents.”
