The Minnesota Golden Gophers have bolstered their offensive line with the addition of Purdue transfer Jaden Ball.

Ball, originally part of Purdue’s 2024 recruiting class, redshirted during his freshman year. The Ohio native was projected to be in the Boilermakers’ rotation for the 2025 season, but he entered the transfer portal last week when it opened. Minnesota quickly emerged as a top destination, and following an official visit to Minneapolis, Ball committed to the Gophers.

He’s now the fourth offensive lineman to join Minnesota this offseason, along with Marcellus Marshall (UCF), Dylan Ray (Kentucky), and Kahlee Tafai (Washington). Ball arrives with four years of eligibility remaining.
